Meet Nicole
Nicole Blanchard, M.S., CCC-SLP
Owner, Speech-Language Pathologist
I attended Missouri State University. I received my Bachelor of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2013 and my Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology in 2015.
I have experience with patients across the life span in different settings including outpatient clinics, schools, skilled nursing facilities, home health, early intervention, teletherapy, and supervision of SLPAs and CFs. I have a passion for helping others and working with patients to meet their goals. I truly love being a speech-language pathologist and all the options the job provides. I enjoy a challenge and working with pediatric and adult populations. Working in several settings has increased my ability to adapt my skills to specific patient needs. My clinical experience consists of a diverse client population ranging from children as young as one month old to the elderly. I have treated disorders such as childhood apraxia, aphasia, cognitive linguistic disorders, dysphagia, severe speech sound disorders, and language disorders.
Through my work in schools, I developed a passion for helping parents understand the special education process. I have participated in trainings to help continue to educate parents regarding their rights in the special education process and understand all the paperwork.
I also have a Teachers Pay Teachers store where I create and sell language rich activities and materials to assist with language development.
When I am not working as a speech pathologist, I am spending time with my husband and two daughters. I enjoy doing outdoor activities, hiking, running, and weightlifting. I love baking and experimenting with new recipes and reading.
